What Causes Weight Gain Along With Blurry Vision And Extreme Fatigue?

I have been experiencing several problems gained 30 lbs in last 3 mos w/ no change in diet, burning mouth, blurry vision, extreme fatigue, shortness of breath , blood tests have determined I am anemic but it continues to seemingly get worse , what could wrong ?thyroid is ok

Hi,

Anemia and hypothyroidism are 2 common causes and as you have mentioned you have been diagnosed as anemic and your thyroid is okay, your symptoms appear to be because of that. I would recommend you to get the anemia further investigated as there are lot of types of anemia and get treated according to the type.

In the meantime I would advise you to take iron supplements which are available over the counter at any medical store. If the levels of hemoglobin is very low then you might need to take injections or even blood transfusion in extreme cases, for which you need to review with your treating doctor.
