What Causes Weight Gain And Fatigue Post A Choleocystectomy?

Hello, I just recently had gallbladder removal, I m a female and in my 60 s, Leading up to the surgery, I was always very tired and slept sometimes during the day. I had also gained some weight. About 5 years before this I notice many things I was able to eat, cannot be eaten anymore and have become gluten intolerant. So I have to watch everything I eat as many foods make me sick. I am feeling as of late that I may have a problem with my thyroid because of my always being tired, weight gain, brain fog, brittle nails and sometimes have problems chocking when I eat certain foods. I do also want to point out that I am an avid walker, walking anywhere from 5 to 8 miles or more a day. This does not make me tired. I like to exercise and always have, I am now feeling that I don t experience the endorphen high of exercise and this is another reason I feel something may be wrong with my thyroid but not sure. In the year 2000 I had a hysterectomy, so my hormones have been out of whack most of my life do to painful, unbearable periods..I feel that other than this feeling of fogginess and sickness if I eat anything wrong, I am fine, in good health but I don t sleep and if I do, maybe 2 hours a night..My nails are brittle, I ve lost the hair on parts of my eyebrows..ok isn t that enough? Not sure if this is cause by thyroid, I don t know. Also, I am a beader, make jewelry, The last 5 or six months I just don t have it in me, I can t think or create an idea and follow it through in my beading. This is why I know there is a problem..
