What Causes Weight Gain And Hair Loss With This Dosage Of Synthroid For Thyroid Cancer?

I had thyroid cancer in 1992. My dose of Synthroid increased rapidly until I have been on a dose of 250-275 mcg for the past 10-15 years. I don t see any assistance even with this high dose. I have gained a lot of weight, my metabolism is still very low, I have no energy, I m losing a lot of hair. I just read that it is not advised to take Acralin with Synthroid. Does this always apply? What about Iodine? I need help and I m NOT getting from my doctors. What is your opinion in my case?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is thyroid malignancy then this need to be managed by oncologist so better to see the best oncologist it is not possible to advise anything in this case though this forum, because case history may need close clinical examination and observation, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
