What Causes Weight Gain And Vomiting Sensation While On Antibiotics For Pneumonia?
I have had pneumonia for a week and been put on antibiotics . I have been gaining weight even though I don t each much as I feel like vomiting. What is making my weight go up? Is it the antibiotics I am on droxcycline (sp?) or is it the swelling in my lungs that is holding on to the water?
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your experience with weight gain and vomiting following a diagnosis of pneumonia with antibiotics treatment I will suggest the cause of the symptoms is could be due to gastritis (inflammation of the stomach) with improved nutritional supplements however studies have not show that antibiotics can promote weight gain
I hope this helps Regards
