What Causes Weight Gain, Hair Loss And Chest Pain?
Hi im om lithium and was just informed my tsh is 15.61, cholsetrol is 218 and ldl is 130 . I have gained 30 lbs in 2 months, hair ia falling out, acne and now i have been experiencing chest pains. Should i wait till monday to see the DR or should i go to the er?
To suggest the dosage there is a need to know height, weight, T4 level. Once the treatment with adequate dosage is begun with in few weeks all the symptoms mentioned will be in check.
Plus you need to check TSH after 6 weeks to se if desired levels are achieved. TSH needs to be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L to remain free from hypothyroidism.
So please do come back with above information. Or else consult your local doctor as early initiation of treatment is essential.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
