Hello, Tubal ligation doesn’t cause weight gain, nausea like symptoms. Its a surgical procedure which is done under anesthesia. The effects of anesthesia remain for some duration and even though some adverse effects of the medicine can be seen but those don’t last long. The surgery was done before so it s not associated with it. The reason for these symptoms is something else. As your menstrual cycles are normal. I would suggest you to visit your doctor and explain your symptoms. He might ask you to get your blood thyroid hormone levels (thyroid profile) checked. Sometimes its related to decreased levels of the hormones which result in weight gain. Once the results come your doctor will guide you with appropriate medicines for further management.
