What Causes Weight Gain, Rectal Pressure And Bloating?
I am 48 years old. I just had a period after going eight months without so I think I am in menopause. About two weeks ago I felt a strange pressure in the rectal area and have had extremely smelly gas. I also am having lower back pain and bloating. I have gained 6 pounds during this time. My breasts are also full. I exercise and eat very healthy.

Ovarian cysts need to be ruled out. These cysts may produce estrogen which could account for your symptoms.
I would suggest visiting your obgyn for an Ultrasound to rule these out
