Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services. I have read your query and here is my advise.
* Cypon syrup or tablet formulations can be consumed during lactation without any side effects.
* Withdrawal of Cypon giving weight loss indicates supportive loss of digestive enzyme or appetizer of intestines.
I would like to recommend basic GI work up to find out any of the underlying cause as digestive enzyme deficiency, brush border issues or else for low appetite which is basically responsible for weight loss and Cypon is a mere reflection of the same.
Thank you. Regards.
