Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Why would I have TERRIBLE odor coming from my vagina? I have no pain, itching, or discharge. I have continually lost weight recently. Over the past two years... from 256 to 121 lbs following a gastric bypass. I am sexually active with one partner. We are mutually exclusive. Thank you for you information.
Thanks for choosing this platform for your health query.
vaginal odour can be due to bacterial vaginosis that is overgrowth of normal occurring vaginal bacteria it is the most common cause of vaginal odour ,
as u told you are sexually active then Trichomoniasis which is a sexually transmitted infection may also occur as it also causes vaginal odour. if you are having vaginal odour without other vaginal symptoms it is unlikely that your vaginal odour is abnormal.
so i would suggest you to concern a gynecologist and follow the treatment as advice by her.
regards
