Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes my 21 year old daughter has been dropping weight consistently and she is very tired. She has Medicaid and she sees a nurse practitioner. I am concerned about the weight loss and fatigue. I thought she may need some extensive blood work. What do you think?
Hello, I can understand your concern about your daughter and i would suggest you to undergo some examinations done like CBC, Sputum examination, Vitamin B12. Take multi vitamin tablets to increase the appetite. she may be anemic as she is very tired, so give her iron rich food and find out the cause of anemia. So get those blood examinations done and get back to me after getting results, so i can guide you further.
