General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Unintentional weight loss needs to be investigated to rule out dangerous causes.
Investigations would normally include a history , examination and blood tests. Depending on the results of these, imaging may or may not be needed.

Blood tests would include a complete blood count, ESR and C reactive protein (inflammatory markers that go up with infection, trauma, cancer, allergies), liver and kidney function tests, calcium, thyroid function tests.

I hope this helps
