What Causes Weight Loss And Stomach Cramps While Treating Amebiasis And Enlarged Prostate?
Hi I am Subash from kolkata .My age is 38 years. I have stomach pain in lower abdomen . In 2015 i had a surgery for gallbladder. For last 3 months i have pain in lower abdomen. I had stool test but nothing is found. When i did a USG there is enlarge prostate gland.Than i started taking Auyurvedic medicine for last 2 months doctor told me that i have a amebiasis. But still i am not satisfied with the medicine. I am also loosing weight . I don t know whether it is due to enlarge prostate gland or amebiasis. No blood stool but stomach cramping during passing a stool. Please guide me.

These symptoms are mostly due to drug-induced gastritis. So take pantoprazole and levosulpiride combination on empty stomach twice daily.
Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
