Dear I can understand your concern
Weight loss along with loss of appetite may be caused by so many conditions such as
1 . anxiety
2. Depression
3.any malignancies
4.any chronic illness such as cardiomyopathy
5.liver disorders
6.thyroid abnormalities
7.any chronic infection etc.
So its not easy to discuss all this without complete history and examination .
So in my opinion discuss this with your physician . He may order some routine test and if required few specific test depending upon your history and physical findings .
Hope this will help.
Thanks for consulting HCM .
