What Causes Weird Movement Near Right Rib Cage?

Hello I m feeling some weird movement in my upper right abdominal region, just bellow the rib cage. It started about 2 weeks ago. I can feel it a few times a day. It is not paiful. But it feels like literally something is moving there under my skin. Do you have any idea what it could be? Thanks,

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

In most cases, your symptoms occurs due to problems in the chest, such as a weakness in chest muscles or ligaments.
Weakness in the chest muscles or ligaments is often due to hypermobility of the eighth, ninth, and tenth ribs. Hypermobility means they are more likely to move.
There is no need for treatment.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
