Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
If I squat down or go to kneel, my right shin/calf sometimes gets a weird pain. It feels as though I have something under the skin that is about to burst. But when I look, there isn t anything. I am turning 50 next month, is this just par for the course ?
The symptoms seem to be related to muscle strain. I suggest stretching exercise for relieve. I also suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen in case of pain. Warm compresses can be helpful in muscle relaxation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
