Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of weird taste in the mouth which seems to be due to olfactory nerve sensations and it can cause complete or partial loss of sensations. It could be due to vitamin B12 or zinc deficiency.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit oral physician/neurologist once and get yourself properly examined. Go for blood tests for proper examination. You should chew sugarless candies to increase salivary stimulation. Drink plenty of water. Maintain a good oral hygiene and avoid food and debris accumulation. Use antiseptic mouthwash to maintain hygiene.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
