What Causes Wheezing And Shortness Of Breath Post Multiple Rib Fractures?
Hi! 9 weeks ago I suffered a severe collision and fall during a soccer match resulting in multiple rib fractures and intercostal damage. The progress has been slow especially the first 6 weeks or so but I feel I have been doing much better lately with the pain and mobility levels. However the past week or so I have noticed I have been short of breath at times (maybe humid weather?) but I seem to also have an echo or a wheeze when I take a breath. Are the two related?

I really appreciate your concern, it seems to be nonspecific symptoms but looking the history of rib injury such symptoms need to be taken for investigation and clinical examination in my opinion it should never be taken as a granted hope this information helps.
