General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

It is common to have a mild wheeze during a cold or viral infection of the respiratory tract. The reason could be due to inflammation. In your case it is for short duration. I guess it is mild. So you need not worry much as it may subside once your cold gets controlled. However if it becomes severe and accompanies with other symptoms, consult a physician who may get a chest x-ray done, to rule out asthma and other lung conditions.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
