What Causes White Bumps Around Anal And Vaginal Area?

Hello,I had a partner around January time, and after we had sex,his friends told me he had genital warts. However I didn t believe him and carried on. We split up not long ago,but I ve started noticing little white lumps around my anal and vaginal area, however I am scared to go to the doctors or speak to my parents,I just find it embarrassing,is there any possible home treatments instead of telling anyone?

Hi,

Genital warts can grow on your vulva or anus, or in your vagina. There is no way to cure genital warts, but they can be removed by your doctor or by using a prescription cream, laser, or surgery. You shouldn’t use over-the-counter wart removers or home remedies.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hajer Al Mazrouii, General & Family Physician
