What Causes White Bumps In The Mouth?

I have white dots in my mouth .. you could say they look like whiteheads only inside my mouth... and also inside of my lips but all the way to the top as far as I can stick my tongue up in front of my teeth or down inside the bottom lip all the way in and down You can hardly see them but when I roll my tongue over them it feels like a tiny pinhead size bump. When I looked with a flashlight, they could hardly be seen almost the same color as the muses membrane and a tiny pinhead size I swished with salt water and it burned slightly In those areas I m worried :((
