Hi.
Thanks for the query..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain white bumps on the tonsils can be due to bacterial infection causing Pustular
tonsilitis..
Secondly it they are persistent and are in the form of hard bumps then they can also be tonsil stones..
For confirmation consult an Otolaryngologist or an ENT expert and get evaluated..
He can do investigations like Throat swab culture can help in diagnosis..
In case if there is infection you can be advised antibiotics like
Augmentin OR
Azithromycin to resolve the infection, anti-inflammatory painkillers like
Ibuprofen can be taken to relive pain, doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room can be very much relieving, suck throat lozenges to soothe the throat, gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine, chew Vitamin C pellets to boost up the immunity..
Completely stop smoking as it can add up to inflammation..
In case of tonsil stones gargling with 1:1 solution of
hydrogen peroxide and water and avoiding excess of dairy products can help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
