What Causes White Circle Embedding Sore Spot On The Tongue?

I have a very sore spot on my tongue on the side kinda towards the back, it looks like a deeper color of red in the middle, like it's raw or something, with a faint white circle around it... could this be something I may have gotten or caught from somebody else

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain white sore spot that is raw and painful can be due to causes like Apthous ulcer, traumatic ulcer, Bullous Pemphegoid etc..

The exact cause can be ruled out only after a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of the scraping from the lesion or Biopsy for confirmation of the cause and treat you accordingly..

You can be advised to apply a steroid ointment along with numbing ointment to reduce inflammation and pain..
You can also be advised a course of multivitamins and steroids..
Do warm saline gargles..
You can also gargle with antiseptic mouthwash..
You should suck ice and go cool water rinses..
Avoid spicy and hard foods and take a soft diet..
