General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to urinary tract infection (UTI). Other conditions like nephrotic syndrome where large amounts of protein is lost through the urine also been ruled out. Consult a pediatrician and get evaluated. A urine analysis must be done to rule out presence of bacteria and protein in the urine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
