General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for trusting HEALTHCARE MAGIC!

I'm Dr. Elton Halili, General & Family Physician. I'm answering as below for your concern about your daughter:

- Mucus in the stool, in small amounts, is a very normal occurrence. It becomes abnormal when large amounts of the substance is found in the stool, or when the color or consistency of the mucus changes. Does the stools smells bad?

-Your daughter has diarrhea and mucus in stool, does she has abdominal bloating or cramping?

- It may be due to gastroenteritis.

- Do a complete blood count and a stool test for parasite.

Ask me for more.

Take care.
