What Causes White Crusty Painful Spot On The Shoulder?

I have this spot on my shoulder it s about half the size of a dime and maybe a quarter inch in height its white and crusty and painful to touch it continues to get bigger over the last few months I m just wondering what it could be I do have a picture of it but I don t think I can attach it to this

It is possible that it may be a fungal infection.

This tends to cause lesions that are white and crusty in appearance.

Treatment can be via oral or topical anti fungals. It can take two to three weeks for a fungal infection to respond.

You may want to consider having your doctor take a look at the area so he or she can prescribe something for you.
