Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms the white film over the gums that you are able to remove can be a thick layer of
plaque and
tartar and as the painful spot can be due to infection in that area of gums leading to
Gingivitis..
It can also be due to
fungal infection over the gums mucosa..
The plaque deposit also leads to infection due to bacterial accumulation in the gums that adheres with the plaque..
Nothing to worry, use an anti-microbial mouthwash to gargle and gargle with it twice a day..
Use a soft toothbrush and brush twice a day, once in morning and once at night.
Always gargle after breakfast and meals.
Do warm saline gargles.
Get scaling done every after 6 month..
Clean the layer if it comes..
In case if you do not find improvement consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
