What Causes White Layer Of Dirt On Sensitive Foreskin With Foul Smell?
My penis s foreskin has got some dirt collected in the inside skin. It has a peculiar smell and the inside has got a white layer of something I dont know. I try to clean it by hand but it hurts. Its kindof sensitive over there.i need to know if this is something serious or I dont need to worry about it..... Please reply doc
The white layer of dirt on sensitive foreskin is commonly smegma, it has a foul smell because of poor hygiene. You are suggested to maintain good hygiene and take bath regularly. Use mild soap and warm water to wash the area affected. Rinse well to prevent irritation from the soap. Wear cotton clothes and change it every day.
Wash your clothes frequently in warm water. Since it is hurting you, avoid sex for a couple of days if sexually active. After 3-5 days, if it continues to hurt, you should consider making an appointment with a GP. The symptoms you’re experiencing may be the result of an infection, and this may likely require additional treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
