What Causes White Particle In The Ear?
Hi a few weeks ago my daughter complained that her ear hurt as another child poked an object into her ear whilst playing. Since then i noticed some dried blood in her ear. She doesn t compain about it hrting. However yesterday whilst cleaning her ear i noticed something white in her ear. It isn t fluid but rather looks like white wax or tissue. What could this be?

Hi,
Noted the history about your daughter, someone put a foreign body in her ear and got an injury with a clot your could see, no pain now so you cleaned it but you saw something while.
This is most probably the wax only or many be desquamated skin after injury.
Well, I would advise you not to clean yourself as you do not know the extent of injury
Hence it is most advisable to take an opinion of an ENT Surgeon for an appropriate diagnosis and management.
She may need ear drops as per the cause found and may be additional antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
Most of the times there is self healing but if the infection sets in then the complication becomes serious.
