What Causes White Patches On The Face And Chest In A Child?
Hi,My daughter is 15 months old ,few days back i was noticing a few white patches on her face and chest ...consulted skin doc ..she said its due to deficiency of iron... But today i noticed 1 white hair on her head...Please tell me whats happening to her ..why this white hair??
Maybe a child having pityriasis alba on the face. It may be due to excessive use of corticosteroid cream or dermatitis or idiopathic self-limiting condition.
No treatment is required and the patches in time will settle.
Just I mentioned the possibility of the condition.
Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
