What Causes White Patches On The Face?

Hello Sir, I am 29 yrs old female. I have recently developed white patch on my face, on cheeks and can see it grow towards my neck also. And this dual skin tone is easily visible and i am really tensed for the same..My doctor prescribed me Elocon and Tacrolimus 0.03% to be used alternatively every night. He asked me to stop Elocon after two weeks. I dint see any improvement and this time he has given me Tacrolimus 0.03% to be applied every night, placentrex gel every morning. To this he added Antoxid HC , one capsule to be everyday after breakfast. I would want to know what exactly is this and will it spread to other parts as well. If you can suggest on the same and if you think that this should work.

Hi,

It seems like vitiligo but you need to consult either a physician or a dermatologist for this. Since vitiligo is associated with a number of autoimmune disorders and if you don't treat the underlying cause, then the condition won't improve despite taking any number of medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
