What Causes White Patches On The Skin?
I'm a 25 year old caucasian male who has the skin condition vitiligo, i went to my dermotologist who said we can offer you treatment and prescribed me Dermovate cream, today i used it for the first time, i applied the right amount on my patches, and around 5 hours later, i looked, and saw that a patch on my stomach had become whiter and so far more noticable.
It's upset me. Why as this happen? i can still feel the difference in texture of the skin, from where i've applied the dermovate cream, so as it not left the surface of my skin yet? I dabbed a wet towell over a patch, but it still is whiter than it was before i applied the dermovate cream. Why is this and will it go back to how it was?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the some skin irritating substance then such reaction is likely to happen and it may not be permanent pigmentation treatment initially gives some different result than what the patients needs hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
