What Causes White Pimple Like Thing On Elbows With No Other Symptoms?
hi my 3 yr old has some white pimple like things on her outer elbow. no itch, no fluid, no redness. and only on one arm. what are these and shd we be doing something about it? she was diagnosed as having molluscum contagiosum 6 mths ago, but the rashes looked quite different.

Hi.
As per your case history your child is having a furuncle.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
