Hi, i am a 24 years old unmarried female and recently i saw a big white round patch on left cheek. I consulted skin doctot and got medicine as well but it doesnt seems to be helpful. What could be the reason behind such patch and how can i solve it. Counting on you.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have white round patch on cheek could be due to two main reasons 1) It could be due to dysbiosis of intestine means incomplete digestion of food. 2) It could be due to pityriasis alba means hyperepigmentation on dry skin. I would suggest you not to panic about it and start topical tacrolimus ointment in mild amount an hydrocotisone cream to apply on these patches. Use Fenistil drops if it is due to indigestion. Avoid exposure to sun light and use cream rich in SPF 26 to prevent exposure. wash face with mild face wash twice daily. Your symptoms will resolve in 1 month. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
