What Causes White Scab On Elbow?

I have a dried white (flaky skin about one inch in diameter...quarter size) scab on one elbow, and nothing on the other......it doesn t seem to heal. I peeled the scab off easily about a month ago, and it bled a little, then re-scabbed, and has been there for the last month again. I do not take any medicines, have no other known health issues, and feel healthy. What might this be?

Hi,
Welcome to the HCM
It could be eczema ,and dry skin.You may apply emolient on that area, two times a day and avoid using soap,instead use moisturizing bathing lotion.
