I recently woke in the middle of the night to symptoms that I thought were a heart attack. I took an OTC prilosec and the feelings subsided. Woke the next morning to nausea and vomiting, sensitivity to light and smell and then after about 4 hours of that agony the nausea and sensitivities went away. My concern is that the acid reflux has continued and I know have white specs in my stool each time I go - once per day. I have been taking a magnesium supplement and a probiotic sense the episode and the reflux has become substantially less, mainly noticed the lessening with the magnesium supplement. However, the white spots in the stool still remain. What could be going on? My age is 39 my height is 5 3 and I have no real medical history. I recently stopped taking Iodine 2 Plus a supplement and haven t taken it since this problem began.
