What Causes White Spots Inside The Throat And A Swollen Lymph Node?

Hello, I am having discomfort in my mid back region accompanied by neck pain, swollen lymph node in neck along with shoulder pain and nausea. All on the right side of my body. The neck area is very tight. I am a 50 year old female. I have been checked back in October for similar symptoms minus the nausea and mid back area. I was placed on a few antibiotics which eased what was diagnosed as sinusitis. The kernel in my throat feeling did not go away so I eventually went to an ent and received a cat scan of the ear canal and neck region with dye. It came out clear but was shown that I had a restricted ear canal. Drainage will remain very slow unless I decide on a surgical change. White spots on right side of throat noticed today. Lymph node swollen 2 days. No fever. I feel very concerned. Thank you.

Differential diagnoses of white spots in tonsils include follicular tonsilitis,candidiasis.During the initial stages of follicular tonsillitis the food particles and desquamated debris form white spots in tonsils.When these obstruct the crypts of tonsils,secondary bacterial infection can occur leading to follicular tonsillitis.So you may be in early stage of infection,start on warm salt water gargles 3-4 times a day if no relief then try betadine gargles.
