Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain
white spots on the teeth are not caused due to
mouth breathing ,the only thing that happens is that due to drying of the teeth by sleeping with mouth open leads to making the white patches more apparent over the teeth and when during the day the teeth gets washed up with saliva and there is formation of
plaque layer over the teeth the white spots becomes less apparent..
The which spots can be due to hypomineralization below the enamel layer or it can also be due to excessive
fluoride [Fluorosis] in the water that you have been taking during childhood leading to white spots..
Covering of these spots can be done depending upon the cause like for hypomineralization using CPP-ACP [
Casein Phosphopeptide – Amorphous Calcium Phosphate] containing paste that helps in remineralization process..
While if it is not found effective then the tooth has to be covered using a layer of Composite resin or other methods like placement of Veneers and laminates over the tooth surface..
You should
consult a dentist and get evaluated for the exact cause of the white spots and treatment can be planned accordingly..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
