What Causes White Spots On Toes After Using Corn And Callus Removal On Foot?
I used Dr. Scholls corn and callus removal for two minor areas on my foot. They contained salycic acid (20%) and had to be changed every 48 hours. I wore them for about 8 days and they did remove the dead skin. HOWEVER my toes are now completely white in the areas that I placed them on in the EXACT shape and size of the medicated disks. It has been months (MONTHS) and my toes now look like crap as the area has NOT returned to its original color. What should I do now? Why is there no warning label for African Americans using this product. I m brown skin with white spots on my toes and I live in Florida. Again what should I do now will it require surgery to be fixed ?
Yes, it is as a result of using corn and callus. No worries, you should do nothing. The skin will be peel away by itself in the passing days. Surgery is not needed at all.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
