hi I have a sore on chin white spots on tounge swollen glandes under chin and both sides of neck all other symptoms are all on the right side of my face small fever last 2 nights and a tooth or jaw that hurts hurts only when I open my mouth at full extend any ideas
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of white spots on tongue and a swollen sore on chin which seems to be because of deficiency of vitamin B12, canker sores and oral candidiasis. Initially it looks raw but progressively it started becoming smooth coating on tongue. Need not to worry. The swelling also occur due to submandibular gland infection or infection on floor of the mouth . I would suggest you to take clean cloth dipped in cold water and rub it around swelling so as to maintain cleanliness. Don't let debris accumulated in area around tongue. Do warm saline rinses and antiseptic mouthwash rinses alternatively . Symptoms will resolve after proper maintenance of oral hygiene and you should take diet rich in multivitamins. If symptoms keeps on persisting even after 1 week visit orla pathologist once and get complete examination done.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
