What Causes White Spots On Tonsils And Painful Swallowing?
I went to the doctors yesterday and was given antibiotics for tonsillitis, it just seems to getting worse, I m left with a hole inbetween my tonsils smaller that 5p coin. I can hardly swallow I ve not eaten for 2 days and now I ve discovered black spots on my tonsils as well as massive white ones. What could they be?

It seems that you have developed membranous tonsillitis. Which antibiotic you are on ? In such a condition i would have prescribed you tab amoxiclav 625 tds with combiflam tds and warm saline gargles. Also betadine mouth wash. Get a throat swab done. Maintain good hydration.
