What Causes White Tissue Like Vaginal Discharge And Greenish Discharge?

Hello! Last APRIL 30 I went to an Ob-Gyne doctor to have my pap smear and pelvix exam. I was prescribed to take albothyl suppository. I inserted the suppository at bedtime for 3 consecutive nights. And then today while I was in the toilet, I noticed something thick coming out of my vagina. I tried to pull it out and a white paper or semi-rubber like material came out with a slightly greenish discharge. It was so weird I freaked out. Yesterday before this happened, I had a very thick clear mucus discharge and it was too many. I don t know what the heck is going on. Could somebody pls help me?!!!

Hello,

You are having thick, greenish discharge from the vagina. It is making you feel uncomfortable. Commonly such symptoms are indicative of infections that lead to vaginal discharge like trichomoniasis or chlamydia which area sexually transmitted diseases. STDs are also gonorrhea, genital herpes, etc., get clinically examined by a gynecologist and get STD tests done so that you can be treated with antibiotics and antivirals if your test reports come positive.

Avoid unprotected sex, do not use public toilet, maintain proper hygiene, etc. Avoid douching, it may trigger your symptom. Wear cotton underwear, which absorbs moisture to prevent a yeast infection. Always practice safe sex by using a condom, limiting the number of sexual partners, and getting tested regularly for STIs. Use unscented soaps, tampons and pads as scented or strong products may disrupt the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina & increase the risk of infection. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
