General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The hormonal pills contain progestins and it overstimulates your cervix and thus produce more mucus discharge. It’s a normal finding and will settle by itself. No definite treatment is required.

If discharge persists it will be better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated to rule out conditions like yeast or bacterial vaginosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
