What Causes White Vaginal Discharge Inspite Of Taking Terconazole For Yeast Infection?
Hello! I have question about vaginal yeast infection. I went to a doctor, she prescribed me a terconazole cream, for 3 days. But it did not really work. It is not itching anymore, but I still have the white discharge. I don t understand why is it so.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Since there is no itching or other symptoms, what you are experiencing white discharge despite treatment for yeast infection indicates that the response is only partial. This happens because you could be having bacterial infection as well which will not subside with the medication you have taken. Kindly take a course of Metronidazole and keep the area under good hygiene by washing with mild soap solution. Your problem should subside soon. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
