Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have whooping cough and lost my voice 6 days ago. I can only whisper. I am going to see a pulmonologist later this week because of a calcified granuloma on the lower right lobe. Do you think they will scope my throat too or do I need to see an ENT?
They should examine the throat also but mostly it has to be a laryngeal involvement. First, let’s go with this appointment and if they don’t we can get an ENT opinion always.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Harshita,
Ophthalmologist
