The severe whooshing sound in the ear with history of hay fever and sneezing indicates acute otitis media or sinus congestion most likely. My guidelines for best recovery and outcome: - Prescription of ear drops as ciprofloxacin or others from your doc with cotton plug application - Avoid cold wind exposure, loud music - Continue decongestant as cetrizine, analagesic as ibuprofen or tramadol hydrochloride antibiotics as macrolides, azithromycin or others as per choice of your consultant. Remain in regular follow up with your doc for further guidelines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
