Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a whooshing sound in my left ear. It comes and goes and does not seem to be triggered by any particular movement, motion, or position. It doesn t hurt. It s not a ringing. Just a soft whooshing. I am a 27 year old white female with no history of illness or chronic infection. I am not taking any medications.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have whoosing sound in ear which is due to accumulation of fluid and ear wax in ear canal. I would suggest you to put otogesic ear drops and do warm saline gargles. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin for 5-7 days. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get otoscopic examination done and start treatment after proper prescription. Avoid touching and pricking it with sharp objects.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
