What Causes Worry And Depression In 12 Year Old?

I'm 12 years old, female, and sometimes I feel so worried and depressed about myself and the whole world. I lose sleep over it at night, and my friends tell me I look tired and distant. Is there something wrong with me, or is it something that will just pass?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. You are the only person who could tell if there is anything wrong with you. This state of mind could be due to disappointment. Introspect and analyze yourselves recent past. Was there one or more disappointing incidents? How you acted on those incidents? You are now approaching adolescence. Hormonal changes could also trigger mild depression. In any case, you could consult a psychologist for diagnosis.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.
