What Causes Yeast Infection Inspite Of Taking Canestan Oral Pills?
Hello I believe I have a yeast infection due to antibiotics. I woke up with it yesterday and I currently also have my period. I am EXTREMELY itchy and sore. I have used the canestan oral capsal and even the supository (as I was advised I can use them together) and it s been over 24 hours and I m experiencing no relief. The anti fungal external cream is also not providing any relieft from the itching. What do I do?
You may need to use an oral anti fungal to see if this helps eg fluconazole.
This is commonly used for vaginal yeast infections. It can be used along with the topical creams that you are using. Using a mild topical steroid cream such as hydrocortisone may also help with the itching.
I hope this helps
