What Causes Yellow And White Discoloration On The Uvula?
I have yellowish to whitish coloring on the area of my soft palate on either side of my uvula. on the bottom left of the arch I have what looks like two separate lumps. The lumps are sore and there is white also behind the arch. I do not have tonsils any longer. I am worried that I have cancer or an STD. Can you help me? I do not have fever, rash, or any other symptoms.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of yellow and white discoloration on the uvula which could be due to infection in throat. It does not seems to like STD and cancer.
Need not to worry. You should take proper antibiotic course to subside infection. You should maintain complete oral hygiene by doing warm saline gargles. You should take Tramadol and steroids to reduce inflammation and pain. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Maintain proper hygiene. Avoid taking very hot and spicy food. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Do rinses with antiseptic mouthwash.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
