General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely pilonidal sinus. It could be infected. So antibiotic therapy will be needed. Usually infection spread from hair follicle. A consultation with a general surgeon is well appreciated. If there is no improvement then surgical treatment will be needed.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
